Goal:

This course provides participants with the necessary electrical training and qualifications to be able to carry out certain types of connection and disconnection tasks with electrical equipment.

Target group:

Personnel with relevant non-electrical qualifications, (cf. Regulations on the Qualification of Electrical Professions and Trades § 6, with Guidelines).

●   Information on relevant regulations issued by the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority
●   Instructions for connecting and disconnecting low-voltage motors
●   Working on disconnected installations
●   Working in the vicinity of live equipment
●   Locking principles
●   Service switches. Fuses and motor protection devices
●   Distribution systems (IT, TT and TN)
●   Short-circuit currents
●   Using protective equipment
●   Using various metering instruments for
●   Voltage testing
●   Insulation testing
●   Requirements when replacing a motor
●   Replacing with an identical motor type
●   Replacing with a motor that is not identical
